Somehow I got the impression that our flight to South America didn’t call in on Easter Isladn on the way over and that is why we were visiting on the way home. But here we are.
We have 40 minutes here in transit. Just enough to browse the souvenir shops and not much else. Not that we have any Chilean money anyway.
It is about 25C and slightly overcast. A gentle breeze is keeping the humidity down, although I wonder how humid it gets here as there is little vegetation to hold it in.

We are back on the plane and filling in the customs declaration. Apparently the quarantine laws help protect the “sanity of the animals” It is also illegal to bring semen into the country. I suggest to Sue I will have to get rid of mine before we reach Santiago, but she says that would only be possible if we were flying Qantas.
