hello mate, i worked in parramatta for several years, as you know. not a bad place, bloody hot in sommer, bit of a trip from your place, maybe you should shift to epping (not)it was about a half hour on the bus. parra park will please you i think, heaps of survey marks, really ancient stuff if you know where to look, can’t remember myself, but we used to do a few prac days there and one of the tech teachers knew stuff that mitchel (if memory serves) had placed for calibration. keep it up

ok well i just got one in the mail today..and ive googled david rhodes and know this is illegal but i am sorely tempted to send it anyway. i dont see why we should be legally forbidden from participating in this scheme; it only involves interested parties and i feel like it is overly intrusive of the state to stop this. But..ive read everyones comments and feel guilty if i do continue. so i wont. but if Craig (29 August, 2008) or Scott (11 January, 2009) or anyone else can tell me: did you actually make money from participating in this??

It is not just ’supposedly’ illegal, it IS illegal.
Under s65AAA of the Commonwealth Trade Practices Act as well as corresponding state legislation in all states.

Hi there, my husband received one of these letters today and due to the fact that it is suposedly illegal, we have decided not to respond. I would however really like to know how these letters are illegal, especially since i feel the mail outs from readers digest are far worse!!!

I received one of these letters today, tempting but after googling have decided to do this instead. So here are the names on my letter.

It is not hard to figure out that with the power of the internet these days most sensible people will google first before responding to these things, therefore bringing the whole scam down quicker then would have happened in pre-internet days. Pity the poor suckers that don’t take the time to google though!

Unfortunately I can’t do a pepsi taste test. I am sure that a big gulp of that stuff would soon tell us which was Pepsi and which was oil. On second thoughts maybe not, in my case at least loud profanity, spluttering and gagging would immediatly follow.

Hi, After reading through your various comments and finding the site I was quite alarmed to find out that this scheme is illegal.Why, exactly is it illegal? You are not being forced to participate in any way and I have heard cases of it working. Surely only interested parties would participate thus leaving anyone who does not think it is a good idea well alone. Is there is a specific law against this kind of thing? If I could see how it could hurt someone participating I might understand why people should not do it.
