Who is David Rhodes?

David Rhodes is a (probably) fictitious character from Perth (amongst other places) who claims to have made thousands of dollars through a pyramid scheme which the chain letter claims is legal.
Of course the scheme is illegal as detailed in various fair trading and consumer web sites in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and the ACT. (Couldn’t find a reference in Tasmania)

So why is this page here?
Quite simply I am tired of receiving these letters in the post and though it was time to name and shame.
If you have arrived at this page by doing a vanity search (putting your own name into a search engine), then this might come as a surprise to you, since your name may be listed below.

You see, part of the scheme involves putting your name and address at the bottom of a list and taking off the name of the person at the top of the list.
Here are all of the names and addresses of people (allegedly) involved in the schemes that have been sent to me. Well, almost, the first few I threw out and the next ten were sent to the NSW Department of Fair Trading (Original address format maintained).
